Artwareshop sells art and creative supplies both online and through a physical store. The platform's requirement from the start was to connect both sales channels seamlessly, so customers can choose the right path depending on their situation. Those who need something quickly pick it up at the shop. Those who prefer to browse at leisure order online and choose delivery or pickup at the pickup point.

We handled the project end-to-end, from concept through theme development to ongoing operations. Technologically the shop is built on Shopware 5, a platform we know from numerous projects and which is particularly well suited to demanding ranges and individual workflows. We developed the theme entirely from scratch and aligned it with Artwareshop's brand world, with a clear visual language for product presentation and a navigation that keeps even a large range manageable. For product search we use Doofinder, a specialised search engine that delivers precise results even in a broad range of art supplies.

A particular feature is the "artwareshop pickuppoint": customers order online and conveniently pick up their goods at the shop, without shipping costs and without waiting times. This integration of online shop and physical store is technically clean and intuitive for the end customer. The functionality is rounded out by a voucher system using the Easy Coupon plugin, a wishlist for saved items, and a PWA configuration so the shop feels like an app on mobile devices.

We have been looking after the shop continuously since launch with maintenance, updates and targeted further development. The combination of classic Swiss specialist retail and a solid online presence shows how even a traditional shop can hold its own in digital sales when the tools are chosen well and integrated cleanly.
