LuxVitae in Würenlos in canton Aargau lives by a central thought: "The entire diversity, the entire appeal and the entire beauty of life consists of light and shadow." Translating this attitude into a website requires a visual language that does justice to the interplay of light and shadow, and a technical implementation that carries this imagery cleanly without distorting it. For LuxVitae we built exactly this bridge between concept and code.

The creative direction comes from Saatchi & Saatchi in Zurich, one of the best-known international advertising agencies. We took the technical lead, developed the WordPress theme from the ground up to Saatchi & Saatchi's specifications and delivered the site to launch. Collaboration with an agency of this size requires clear role allocation and precise technical answers to creative concepts. That is exactly our strength as a long-standing technical partner for advertising agencies in Switzerland.

The heart of the site is an interactive light/shadow feature that we programmed specifically for LuxVitae. With a single click, visitors switch between two worlds of the brand: the world of lighting and the world of shading. Both visual worlds are carefully tuned to each other, so the switch itself becomes part of the brand experience rather than a technical gimmick. The feature translates the brand's central slogan directly into an interactive experience, making the abstract idea of light and shadow immediately tangible.

Technologically the site runs on WordPress with a custom theme developed by us. The presentation of lighting and shading products follows a calm visual language with large-format imagery, considered typography and a navigation that structures the range clearly without disrupting the meditative character of the brand. The theme is responsive and optimised for good performance so that the high-quality imagery and the interactive light/shadow logic load without waiting time even on mobile devices.

We have been looking after the site since launch with maintenance, updates and targeted development. The project stands for a constellation we particularly excel at: an agency delivers concept and design, we implement it technically, develop custom features such as the light/shadow logic here, and take over ongoing operations. This way, the agency stays focused on what it does best, and the end client receives a technically solid solution from a single source.
